Preparing our future

Head Teacher/Centre Manager

We reside in a new purpose-built building with a license for 54 children across our under-2s and over-2s areas. We have a strong relationship with our local SDA primary school and enjoy excursions there. We offer a ‘home away from home’ early learning space where children and families/whānau feel welcomed and nurtured at all times.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head Teacher/Centre Manager to join our team. The Centre provides a fun and loving environment, where children can enjoy their early learning journey. We love to get outside and enjoy our playground, beautiful fruit trees and vegetable gardens.

As the Head Teacher/Centre Manager, you will be responsible for planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that encourage children's creativity, social skills and intellectual growth, and leading the teaching team. You will also work closely with parents to ensure open communication and collaboration in their child's learning journey. You will be responsible to make sure that the Centre is meeting both Ministry of Education regulations and Licensing Criteria. You will also work closely with the Office/Finance Manager to ensure the Centre operates within budgets.
